Season 1 covers the first 30 chapters of the book "The Wave" – the book has 82 chapters. The floor fans in various episodes spin in the wrong direction when it comes to the orientation of the blades. Spinning this way doesn’t push or pull any air. Featured on WatchMojo: Top 10 of 2023 TV Shows You Should Watch (2023). I really liked Silo. Just my kind of show. I love mystery and suspense. I haven’t read or heard of the books the story is based on, but it’s good and interesting. The series takes place 140 years after the apocalypse. 10,000 people are now left living in a silo, and these people have never been outside the silo. They don’t even know what stars are. However, they do know that going outside the silo is fatal. Some people choose to go outside to learn more, but they always die. Those who remain in the silo can watch through the window every time someone wants to come out, and see how and when they die. Rebecca Ferguson has the lead role as Juliette Nichols, who tries to figure out what’s outside the silo and why they can’t get out without dying, as well as the character development. The pace can be a bit slow, however, as there are some filler episodes. They could definitely shorten the series by at least two episodes, but that doesn’t bother me that much because the series is overall very good, I’m looking forward to season 2 with more suspense, mystery, and answers about what’s going on outside the silo!
