Four children make a mysterious discovery on their home planet that leads them to become lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy.. Jude Law in “Skeleton Crew” plus other stars from a galaxy far, far away.. The holographic circus that entertains Neel’s young brothers is the same one that Chewbacca’s family watches in the infamous The Star Wars Holiday Special (1978).. Featured in AniMat’s Crazy Cartoon Cast: Silly Old Deadly Bear (2022). Since I know a lot of hate will be aimed at this show due to the ups and downs of recent Star Wars, I’m happy to say that this is a positive. So far… The first 2 episodes don’t break new ground or are very original, but that’s not a problem, as it delivers well throughout. The cast and their acting are fantastic, the costumes and sets are probably the best we’ve seen since Andor, the writing, especially the hilarious banter between the kids, was good. Again, nothing new, but it’s still intriguing and I can’t wait to watch it again. It gives me some serious Treasure Planet vibes. As someone who didn’t personally enjoy the latest Star Wars, I was surprised by Skeleton Crew. I hope anyone who is mildly interested, or even just upset about the latest shows, gives it a shot. Don’t let the “for kids” thing put you off. Star Wars is for everyone, and so is this.
